About Our Policy

This is our privacy policy and it explains how we, Awamir (and all its affiliates in different markets), use the personal information which has been provided by you when using our service, including but not limited to our website and mobile applications (apps).

Section 1: What information do we collect about you?

When you order from us or use our website, we collect information that you provide to us when using our service. We also collect information when you complete any customer survey. We may also receive information about your website usage which is collected using cookies.

When using our application, we collect information related to your GPS location, App interactions, Crash logs, Device ID and, when making an order, your Address and Phone number. We also collect and store additional optional information like gender identity, birthdate when you fill in these optional fields. You can view the full list of collected information at the bottom of Section 3.

Section 2: How will we use the information we collect from you?

Your personal information is sent to the delivery team for delivery. We also use your email id to send you order details, occasional newsletters or other information you have subscribed to. We also receive reports of app use and interactions in order to continually improve your experience with our apps and services.

Please be informed that Awamir or our partner Restaurants and Riders will never use your personal information for any other purpose other than the ones mentioned above.

We take security seriously and we take precautions to keep your personal information secure. We have put in place appropriate physical, electronic and administrative procedures to safeguard the information we collect. However, due to the open communication nature of the Internet, Awamir cannot always guarantee that communication between you and Awamir or information stored on Awamir servers will be 100% safe. However, they will be free from unauthorized access by third parties.

Our privacy policy only applies to the apps, Awamir website (as well as DarazFood sites) but our website/apps may have links to other websites. Therefore, when you are using other websites linked in our sites and apps, please read the privacy policies of those websites.
